Write your own answer to the question and post as a comment: How do the poets of “The Soldier” and “A Life is a Life” show their feelings?

  1. in 'the soldier' brooke shows that we should be proud of are country and to suport who was in the was war and that it is a noble thing to do die for your country. 'think only this of me' this shows that he want people to remember him in ways in which he decribes. 'only' this shows that he just wants us to think that of him so if its not said then dont think it because he is the noble one and that he cant think of more things that he could be remembered for.

    a life is a life rami shows in his poem that you should still be proud and sad of what they have done but think that so many people have gone to war and only a few have come back. 'we see fourteen you killed ninehundred' this shows that only 14 came back from 900.'you' this means that are country didnt kill them when we did because its not are war. and we are getting taken to war when we dont want too.

    The authers of 'The Soldiers ' and ' A life is a life ' show their feelings through words such as 'her flowers to love ' and her sights and sounds ; dreams happy as her day ' shows this this auther is praising his country and useing his words as if he is a soldier fighting for him country .
